About

I built this from three interns and no clients.

I studied journalism and law at Albany, then took a master’s at Hofstra. I started in the PR department at Roc Nation in 2015 — curating content for talent rosters, pitching branding proposals, working on campaigns including the ANTI World Tour. It was the best possible place to learn how a deal actually gets made, and how often it doesn’t.

In 2017 I ran media and marketing for the IMPACT 17 summit in Miami, headlined by DJ Khaled. I built the sponsorship case, ran the negotiation, and closed Sprint as primary sponsor while running press for the whole event. That was the one that made me think I could do this myself.

I incorporated Nasha Clark, Inc. in February 2018 — with three interns, no clients, a waitressing shift and a graduate degree to finish. I signed my first major client a month later. Since then I’ve brokered over a million dollars in brand partnerships across CPG, publishing, pro sports and television.

Somewhere in there I became the person families call when their child has a brand deal on the table and nobody has explained what they’re signing. That work is now the part of the practice I’m most protective of.

I still take every brief myself. That isn’t modesty about the size of the business — it’s the product.

What I believe about this work

“My brand is a brand of integrity, and I pride myself on that every day.”

I have turned down thousands of dollars because a project went against my moral compass, and I’d do it again tomorrow. In a business where the incentive is always to close the deal in front of you, the only durable asset is being someone whose word holds. That’s not a marketing position. It’s the reason clients stay.

In their words

What clients say.

We brought her on initially to help with PR, but her work ethic and hustle soon lead us to increase her role to entertainment manager for the family. She and her company go the extra mile to provide above and beyond with anything we ask of them.

The progress I’ve made with Nasha has felt like new beginnings with each project I trust her with. She’s a true dreamer who understands that purpose can become greater when it’s in the right hands. She has challenged me creatively and has helped me reach new & larger audiences.
